How to Use the New Operations Terminal in GTA Online

Operations Terminal

If you’re looking for a new way to take on the skies and the streets of San Andreas, you might want to check out the latest update for GTA Online, called San Andreas Mercenaries. This update introduces a new set of missions and content that revolves around the Mammoth Avenger, a massive military plane that can be customized and upgraded with new features. One of these features is the Operations Terminal, which is a new interior upgrade that allows you to launch new missions and access various options for your Avenger. In this blog post, we’ll explain what the Operations Terminal is, how to get it, and how to use it in GTA Online.

While the Avenger is not new to the game, the update certainly makes it more usable and accessible! BONUS TIP: you no longer need to own the Facility to buy the Avenger. Since this latest update, you can buy it as long as you have a Hanger, taking away a big paywall.

What is the Operations Terminal?

The Operations Terminal is a new upgrade for the Mammoth Avenger that adds a computer terminal with the Los Santos Angels logo on it. The Los Santos Angels are a group of elite pilots and ex-military operators who are hired by Charlie Reed, an expert mechanic and pilot who contacts you at the start of the update. The Operations Terminal allows you to join the Los Santos Angels and launch new missions that involve battling against Merryweather Security, a private military company that is trying to take over the criminal market in San Andreas.

The Operations Terminal also lets you customize your Avenger with new weapons and upgrades, such as front-facing machines guns and missiles, a stealth module, and a missile lock-on jammer. You can also access the Mammoth Avenger Thruster, a smaller vehicle stored within the Avenger that can transport you back to your sky-bound Avenger.

How to get it

To get the Operations Terminal, you need to own the Mammoth Avenger first. If you don’t have one already, you can purchase it from Warstock Cache & Carry for $3,450,000. You can also purchase the Operations Terminal along with the Avenger for $4,900,000. Alternatively, you can purchase the Operations Terminal separately from Charlie in the Hangar or while customizing your Avenger in the Charlie Upgrades menu.

If you already own an Avenger, you can upgrade it with the Operations Terminal for $1,450,000 from Warstock Cache & Carry or from Charlie. You don’t need to own a Hangar to own an Avenger anymore, as you can call your Avenger to your location using the Services section of the Interaction Menu.

How do you use the Operations Terminal?

To use the Operations Terminal, you need to enter your Avenger and walk to the back past the weapon workshop (if you have one – handy to have to replenish MK2 ammo) to find the terminal. As you approach it, you’ll be given the option to Register as a Boss, either as a Securoserv CEO or Motorcycle Club President (if you have both options). This will take you to an options screen where you can select Project Overthrow or LSA Operations.

Project Overthrow is a series of six solo or multiplayer missions that involve taking on Merryweather Security in various locations and scenarios. You’ll need to complete these missions in order to unlock the trade price for the Mammoth F-160 Raiju stealth jet and other rewards.

LSA Operations are three private contract missions that can be launched in Freemode by calling Charlie Reed. These missions involve stealing sensitive data from server farms, conducting raids, and dropping explosive payloads on high-value targets across the state.

The Operations Terminal also lets you customize your Avenger with new weapons and upgrades by selecting Charlie Upgrades. You can also access the Mammoth Avenger Thruster by selecting Thruster Services.
